Edie White
Eddie White (Adelaide, Australia) is an Australian illustrator and filmmaker residing in Bogotá, Colombia. Graduated in animation, he has directed several films throughout his career. Since his arrival in Colombia in 2017, he has dedicated himself to playfully portraying Colombian culture through his illustrations, focusing on aspects such as food, music, and local expressions.
His first book, Caldo de ojo: 100 Colombian sayings and words (2023), compiles popular expressions from the country accompanied by illustrations full of humor and mischief. Additionally, he has created murals in iconic places like the Panoptic Museum of Ibagué, where he depicted a map of monsters from Tolima.
