Franklin Susanibar Chávez
Franklin Susanibar Chávez is a Peruvian speech therapist internationally recognized for his work in research and teaching in orofacial motricity and speech disorders. He has been a promoter of the World Day of Orofacial Motricity and creator of the F-Susanibar Method for the assessment and intervention of Speech Sound Disorders (SSD), taught in America and Europe. He is currently a lecturer in the Orofacial Motricity Diploma at the Autonomous University of Chile.
Among his most notable works are Evaluation and Speech Therapy Intervention in Orofacial Motricity and Related Areas (2019), Orofacial Motricity: Evidence-Based Fundamentals (2013) and its Volume II (2016), Speech Disorders: From Fundamentals to Assessment (2016) and Speech Sound Disorders: Controversies and Scientific Data on the Use of Non-Verbal Oromotor Exercises (NVOM) in Assessment and Intervention (2024). His approach is based on clinical practice supported by scientific evidence, addressing topics such as phonetic-phonological assessment, prosody, and intervention in disfluencies.
