Germán Martínez Martínez
Germán Martínez was born in 1942 in Monforte de Lemos (Lugo, Spain). He studied at the Abbey of Samos and at San Anselmo (Rome), where he received his doctorate in 1974. In 1988, he obtained the chair of theology and liturgy at Fordham University, New York. Since 2006, he has also been a professor of liturgy at the San Dámaso Faculty of Theology (Madrid).
