Jeff Cavins
Jeff Cavins is a Catholic evangelist, author, and American biblical scholar, known for his innovative approach to teaching the Scriptures. After a period as a Protestant pastor, he returned to Catholicism and created the Bible study program The Great Adventure, which organizes the Bible into a chronological narrative to facilitate its understanding. This method was consolidated in The Great Adventure Catholic Bible (2021), an edition that incorporates his color-coding system to guide readers through the history of salvation.
In addition to his work in biblical studies, Cavins has co-edited works such as Amazing Grace for Married Couples (2005), which compiles inspiring stories about marriage from a Catholic perspective. He is also the author of titles such as My Life on the Rock (2000) and Walking with God: A Journey Through the Bible (2007), which reflect his commitment to spiritual formation. Although he has not received notable literary awards, his influence in biblical education and evangelization is widely recognized in Catholic circles.
