Marcelo Escobar
Marcelo Escobar Morales is a Chilean graphic designer and illustrator born in Santiago in 1970. His work is characterized by a style that merges popular graphics with a critical and social perspective, excelling in the field of children's and youth literature. Among his most recognized works are Mito del Reyno de Chile. Invención ilustrada de un Chile secreto (2010), for which he received the Amster-Coré Award for editorial design.
Escobar has participated in various individual and collective exhibitions, and his work has been featured in media such as La Tercera and El Desconcierto. Additionally, he has illustrated works like Sábados (2021), written by María José Ferrada.
