Marcial Antonio Rubio Correa
Marcial Antonio Rubio Correa (b. Lima, September 28, 1948) is a Peruvian lawyer and professor. He served until December 11, 2018, as the rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
In the 1980s, he was elected councilor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, where he also held the presidency of the Culture Commission and was part of the Economic Affairs Commission of such municipality.
On November 25, 2000, he was appointed Minister of Education during the transitional government of Valentín Paniagua.
