María Paz Moya
María Paz Moya Daza is a Chilean speech therapist specialized in orofacial motricity, with a notable academic and scientific career. Assistant professor of the Speech Therapy program at the Autonomous University of Chile, Temuco campus, she has participated in international congresses and collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects. Her focus is on the rehabilitation of orofacial functions, integrating tools such as electromyography and photobiomodulation

Among her most outstanding works is the Evaluation and Speech Therapy Intervention in Orofacial Motricity and Related Areas (2019), co-authored with Franklin Susanibar and Catalina Valdés, published by GiuntiEOS. She also contributed to the book Health Care and Speech Therapy Practices (2021), edited by the Federal University of Paraíba in Brazil, where she addressed speech therapy intervention in cases of peripheral facial paralysis. Her work has been recognized with awards at the XLIII Chilean Congress of Anatomy and the I Latin American Congress of Clinical Morphology, highlighting her commitment to research and excellence
