Matthew Perry
Matthew Langford Perry (Williamstown, Massachusetts, August 19, 1969 - Los Angeles, California, October 28, 2023) was an American/Canadian actor and writer. He is remembered for playing the character Chandler Bing in the series Friends, a role for which he received an Emmy nomination in 2002. He also appeared in movies like The Whole Nine Yards, its sequel The Whole Ten Yards, and 17 Again. Additionally, he was nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his role in the film The Ron Clark Story.
He was co-creator, co-writer, executive producer, and star of the ABC sitcom Mr. Sunshine, which premiered on February 9, 2011. He returned to television in 2012 as Ryan King, a sports commentator, in a new comedy series, Go On. Perry co-created and starred in the CBS series The Odd Couple playing Oscar Madison, which lasted until 2017.
