Mojang Ab
Mojang AB is a Swedish video game development company, primarily known for creating Minecraft, released in 2011. Founded in 2009 by Markus Persson, known as "Notch", the company has expanded its catalog with titles such as Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons. Throughout its history, Mojang AB has been awarded multiple times. In 2011, it received the Audience Award and the Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival for Minecraft. Additionally, in 2021, it won the Wood Pencil at the D&AD Awards for its logo. Since 2014, Mojang AB has been part of Xbox Game Studios, following its acquisition by Microsoft.
