Patricio Jara
Patricio Jara was born in Antofagasta in 1974. He has published the novels El sangrador (National Book and Reading Council Award 2002), El mar enterrado, El exceso, Prat, Quemar un pueblo, Geología de un planeta desierto (Municipal Literature Award 2014) and Antipop. He is a journalist and author of the music chronicle books Pájaros negros, Pentagram and Read in Blood. His latest work is South American Joe, a research on a Chilean pilot who fought in World War II.
