Pía Figueroa Edwards
Pía Figueroa Edwards (1953) is an art historian, journalist, and Chilean writer, as well as co-founder of the Humanist Party. She has worked in various areas related to communication, politics, and research on human consciousness. She is currently the director of the international news agency Pressenza, where she promotes themes of peace, non-violence, and humanism.
As an author, she has published The Inner Guide (testimonies) (1982), in the genre of testimonies, Silo, the Teacher of Our Time (2013), a chronicle, and The Transcendental Experience - methodology for an asceticism with support in a sensory deprivation chamber (2020), an essay. She has also developed monographs such as Dream Research (2007-2008) and Study on Phidias, the Example of the Sculptor (2010).
