Among his most notable works are The Law of Non-International Armed Conflict (2012), awarded the Paul Reuter Prize by the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Francis Lieber Prize by the American Society of International Law, and the Prize of the European Society of International Law; Oppenheim's International Law: United Nations (2017), a co-authorship that received the Certificate of Merit from the American Society of International Law; and International Human Rights Law (2022), co-edited with Daniel Moeckli and Sangeeta Shah.
