With a degree in Anthropology and a PhD in Philosophy, he has combined his teaching work with writing essays that intertwine nature, thought, and culture. His most recognized work is Jardinosofía: A Philosophical History of Gardens (2016), where he explores the garden as a metaphor for the good life and a symbol of a cultivated mind.

Other notable titles include Verdolatría: Nature Teaches Us to Be Human (2018), Aprendívoros: The Cultivation of Curiosity (2021), and A Piece of Land (2022), all published by Turner Publishing.
