Víctor Sampedro Blanco
Víctor Francisco Sampedro Blanco (Viveiro, April 13, 1966) is a prominent Spanish researcher and professor in the fields of journalism, communication, sociology, and political science. He earned his degree in Information Sciences in 1990 at the University of Navarra and received his PhD from the Complutense University in 1995. He furthered his education with master's degrees at the Juan March Institute and Northwestern University. Since 2009, he has been a professor of Political Communication and Public Opinion at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid
Among his most notable works are "13-M: Multitudes online" (2005), "The Fourth Power Online: For a (code) free journalism" (2014), "Digital Dietetics" (2018), and "Voices of 11-M: Victims of the Lie" (2024).
