Synopsis "After December (by Your Side, 2)"

**Over 1 million copies sold of the series**After a year apart and an avalanche of hurt, will these two college lovers be able to make amends, or is their relationship too damaged to salvage? When Jenna Brown ended things with Jack Ross, she lied and told him she wanted to get back together with her ex. It wasn't true, but she knew it was the only thing she could say to convince Jack to leave her and take the opportunity of a lifetime to study film in France for a year. While Jack is overseas, Jenna takes a break from school, living back home and working as a personal trainer. But as she grows tired of her parents treating her like a child for her choices, Jenna can't stay any longer; she decides to return to college and to her friends--Naya, Will, and above all, Jack, who she misses, even though she's not ready to face him yet.Jack Ross was still supposed to be in France. Turns out, he is also back on campus, but he's different. Having shot a movie that's about to be released, Jack should be happy; but after losing Jenna a year ago, he finds himself in a downward spiral, addicted to his old vices. Seeing her again only twists the knife deeper. No longer the same young people who started college before December, all have matured, been through difficult times and found their way back to each other. But is there a future for Jenna and Jack?

Joana Marcús, born in Mallorca in 2000, divides her time between her studies, her books, and her pets. Since she was young, she knew she loved writing, although her first texts were only short stories. It was not until she was thirteen that she dared to publish her first complete story on Wattpad, where she has continued writing to this day.

She has been a winner of the Wattys Awards twice for her novels Irresistible Proposal in 2016 and Cities of Smoke in 2019. She is one of the youngest authors to achieve international bestseller success. In 2021, Before December ranked among the top 10 best-selling novels in various countries. In 2022, she was the best-selling author just behind the Harry Potter books. She traveled to various countries and cities to promote her stories. For example, in Madrid, where she brought the Gran Vía to a standstill, and in Mexico, where she gathered hundreds of readers at the FIL in Guadalajara.
