Some panels include dialogue, while others forgo it for a purely visual impact. Una extensión imaginativa de la narrativa latinoamericana contemporánea, esta novela gráfica abarca temas universales--la muerte, la amistad, el amor y otros--desde una perspectiva singularmente femenina. En sus aventuras surrealistas, la protagonista se encuentra con un fantasma en la casa, un viaje en el tiempo, nieve que tiene una apariencia muy parecida a la del helado de limón y hasta a la Muerte. Algunas de las viñetas incluyen diálogo, otras lo renuncian a favor de un impacto puramente visual. En ambos casos, la narrativa ingeniosa y tierna introduce la magia e inocencia en un mundo de peligro y maravillas y anima al lector a superar la adversidad con humor y de buen talante.
