Synopsis "Ant Colony Optimization Based Routing on ns-2"

Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is application of ants' behaviour to complex computational optimization problems. ACO is inspired by the foraging behaviour of ant colonies, wherein they are able to find shortest path between two points through collective learning. Learning is achieved by a deposition of a chemical called pheromone. A simulation of Ant Net, which is a network routing algorithm based on ACO, on network simulator ns-2.
