Synopsis "Bortom räddning (in Swedish)"

Frida Ekberg är tillbaka i sin hemstad efter att under en tid ha arbetat i Stockholm som utredare av grova brott. En 37-årig kvinna har några månader tidigare oförklarligt försvunnit i samband med en födelsedagsfest. Fallet tas upp och granskas på nytt av utredningsgruppen som Frida nu ingår i. Kvinnans anhöriga har olika teorier om vad som kan ha hänt henne och lämnar motstridiga uppgifter till polisen. Frida försöker reda ut det hela och blir efter hand alltmer övertygad om att ett brott har begåtts och att den försvunna kvinnan inte längre är vid liv.
