Synopsis "Burning Town"

Nothing has gone right for freshman Clay Morris: his brother had passed, his parents had separated, and his teachers had turned a blind eye as he had been beaten within an inch of his life on multiple occasions, so when a retiree at the dismal Pine Creek Community School uses technology to find a way for Clay to escape to a rival school across town, he figures it might just be worth a shot. Neither his bullies nor a potential girlfriend are willing to let him get away that easy and there comes a point when Clay must decide whether to roll over and die or to cut his losses and seek his revenge by bringing his tormentors to justice. This heated and vengeful novel, Burning Town, follows Clay's fight for survival and attempt to get out of the hellhole that is Pine Creek.
