José Saramago (Azinhaga, 1922-Tías, Lanzarote, 2010) is one of the most well-known and appreciated Portuguese writers worldwide. In Spain, since the first publication of The Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis in 1985, his literary work received the best reception from readers and critics. Una excelente obra. Nos muestra una nueva versión del Antiguo Testamento en donde muestra a Dios como un ser sin escrúpulos y un Cain condescendiente con lo que sucede a su alrededor. Recomendada.
