Synopsis "Contemplating Mary"

It is one thing to know about the Blessed Virgin Mary and about the epoch and culture in which she lived, but it is something completely different to know her personally, as a loving mother. For centuries the Church has taught that we can have an intimate relationship with Christ - and also with Mary and the saints - by means of prayer, and specifically by means of contemplation. Contemplation is a form of prayer which consists in using the imagination to mentally recreate some event of the life of Christ, enter into it, participate in it, and draw from it grace and spiritual fruit.In this book the author attempts to guide the reader into the deep waters of contemplation with the ultimate goal of growing in love for Mary, the Mother of God.
