Synopsis "dark inside my mind"

This is my story. A story of a little girl who learnt what fear was before she even really understood what life was. From childhood abuse and domestic violence to addiction, grief and losing herself completely, Evelyn Rose spent much of her life surviving. But this isn't only a story about what happened to her. It's about what those experiences did to her, the choices she made while trying to survive, and the long journey towards understanding herself. Through addiction, abusive relationships and recovery, Evelyn began to understand that healing wasn't about changing her past. It was about deciding what happened next. This isn't a story about revenge. It's a story about turning pain into purpose — and using everything that once tried to destroy you as the driving force to help another woman find her way out.
