Er stand die frühen Hungerjahre mit ihm durch, begleitete seine ersten literarischen Versuche, teilte mit ihm die Schmach gnadenloser Verrisse, rettete ihn vor dem Tod auf dem feuilletonistischen Schlachtfeld, half dem blutig Zerfetzten, wieder und wieder aufzuerstehn. Nach weiteren, beschwerlichen Jahren wurde dann aus dem Onkel Ferdi doch noch, wozu er bestimmt war und wovon das Luiserl immer geträumt hatte: ...
