I was just a young clinician on night shift when it happened, in the late 2030s. The world was collapsing under a new pandemic, and exhaustion had become my second skin. Then, in a moment, everything changed.

I was abducted-lifted into silence and light by something not of this world. A UFO. A UAP. When I woke up, I was still me... no older. Not a second had passed for me. But the world had moved on.

It was 2064.

I found myself in a city I couldn't name-floating ambulances, curved towers powered by fusion, and the iWorld Intergalactic Hospital standing like a beacon of the future. Inside, robotic arms sculpted new organs from stem cells in seconds. AGI-guided nanobots healed damaged DNA. Holographic doctors-personalities cloned from the dead-stood at every bedside. Cryonic chambers froze aging itself. And embedded microchips streamed our every thought, heartbeat, and memory to the cloud.

Immortality had become reality.

But in this dazzling world where death had been conquered, I discovered something terrifying: some people longed to die... and couldn't. Others were stuck in endless time loops or trapped in artificial memory corridors. Humanity was alive-but was it still human?

I searched for Meera-my secret lover and my supervisor from the old world. Her laughter haunted my memory. Her face kept me grounded as I followed strange corridors that looped into themselves... until I found the Portal.
