Orson Scott Card (nacido el 24 de agosto de 1951, en Richland, Washington) es un prolífico escritor estadounidense conocido principalmente por su obra de ciencia ficción. Ganó reconocimiento mundial con Ender’s Game y su secuela Speaker for the Dead, convirtiéndose en el único autor que recibió consecutivamente los prestigiosos premios Hugo y Nebula.
