By morning, Brittany is dead.

The book is found beside her body, opened to exactly where she stopped. Beside it is a handmade bookmark with four words:

FINISH WHAT YOU START.

Then another reader dies.

And another.

When longtime book reviewer Michelle Clarke realizes the victims have something terrifying in common, an old post of her own resurfaces.

And Michelle may be next.

A twist-filled psychological thriller about readers, reviews, obsession, and the dangerous idea that once you start a story, you owe it an ending.

Go ahead. Put it down.
