El Chubby - Joe Palumbo

Seth and Tanner thought attending medical school in Mexico would be the adventure of a lifetime. They had no idea just how right they were.

Their lives take a dangerous-and hilariously unexpected-turn when they cross paths with José Guztardo, a wealthy and powerful man with a very private problem. When José decides two American medical students are the answer to his predicament, Seth and Tanner suddenly find themselves performing a procedure they’re nowhere near qualified to handle.

And when things go spectacularly wrong, their medical education becomes the least of their worries.

With their friend Cass caught in the middle, Seth and Tanner are forced into a desperate race across Mexico while José and his ruthless men close in. Their only goal is to reach the American border before José catches them.

Packed with outrageous situations, dark humor, danger, friendship, romance, and one unforgettable medical mishap, El Chubby is a wild comedy-thriller about two students who discover that surviving medical school might actually be the easy part.
