Lauren Kate (Dallas, Texas, March 21, 1981) is an American writer of young adult literature, known for her Fallen series, which combines romance, fantasy, and supernatural elements. She holds a degree in creative writing from Emory University and a master's from the University of California, Davis, and worked as an editor before dedicating herself fully to writing. Her experience in the southern United States influenced the setting of her works.

Her most notable work is the Fallen saga, consisting of Fallen (2009), Torment (2010), Passion (2011), Rapture (2012), Fallen in Love (2012), and Unforgiven (2015). Other titles include The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove (2009), Teardrop (2013), and By Any Other Name (2022). Her books have been translated into more than thirty languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide.

Esta saga de libros fueron los primeros libros que leí como adolescente y formaron gran parte de mi vida. Hace poco encontré el primer libro de la serie en el lugar menos esperado en especial considerando que hace años no veía ninguno de los libros a la venta localmente. Tristemente solo tenian el primero, pero en una busqueda intensa di con esta pagina web y pude encontrar el resto de la serie (y hasta de la misma edición!) y tuve que comprarlo. El tiempo de entrega fue satisfactorio y las condiciones del libro son más que excelentes.
