Andrew Chevallier is a British medical herbalist, author, and educator known for his extensive contribution to the field of phytotherapy. Since 1986, he has practiced herbal medicine, treating a variety of health conditions, from minor skin ailments to serious diseases. He is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy, and was president of the first mentioned institution. Additionally, he played a key role in creating the Herbal Medicine course at Middlesex University in London, the first of its kind at a European university.

Chevallier is the author of several influential books in the field of herbal medicine, notably the "Encyclopedia of Medicinal Plants," which has sold over a million copies and has been translated into eight languages. This work is considered an essential reference for both professionals and enthusiasts of phytotherapy. In 2000, he also trained as a spiritual healer, integrating holistic approaches into his practice.

Currently, Chevallier continues his educational and therapeutic work, offering seminars and consultations, and promoting the responsible use of medicinal plants in everyday health.
