Im Grunde genommen wei Enno nicht, warum er sich auf diese Reise eingelassen hat. Er sitzt im Zug nach München, um seine geschiedene Frau zu besuchen. Es ist der erste persönliche Kontakt nach zehn Jahren. Die Trennung hatte ihn aus er Bahn geworfen und dazu geführt, dass er sein Leben völlig neu ausgerichtet hat. Doch viele dieser schweren Erinnerungen tauchen plötzlich wieder auf. Entgegen seiner Gewohnheit, auf Zugreisen zu arbeiten, lässt er sich an diesem Tag von den anderen Reisenden ablenken. Und er trifft sehr unterschiedliche und interessante Menschen. Bis zuletzt sitzt Angelo in seinem Abteil, mit dem er sich auf unerklärliche Weise verbunden fühlt. Er schenkt ihm nicht nur sehr inspirierende Impulse, sondern auch eine Leichtigkeit, die Enno ausgesprochen guttut. Und Enno hat Glück. Angelo bleibt bis zum Ende seiner Reise bei ihm.
