Synopsis "Evangelios Apocrifos (in Spanish)"

The Apocryphal Gospels were written during the first centuries of Christianity and tell stories from the life of Jesus, which include episodes excluded from the Canonical texts. The Apocrypha, not accepted by Catholic tradition, include the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Scrolls. They were called Gospels for their similarity in form to the four Gospels accepted into the Canon of the New Testament. Nevertheless, many of them lack a strictly evangelical style. Some appeared in the Gnostic communities, with the intention of relaying "hidden" or encrypted words (in ancient Greek, apokryphos). It's worth noting that the term "apocryphal" did not originally indicate error or exclusion, but mystery. These messages, hidden in the words spoken by and attributed to Jesus, were reserved for those fully initiated in such communities.
