Synopsis "Find Your Way"

Find Your Way is the fifth book in Gerry's Campfire Adventures, a ten book Australian bedtime picture book series for children aged 3 to 7.Edna the Echidna goes a little further than she ever has. Then a laugh breaks the quiet. She backs into a hollow log and cannot back out again. Gerry the Giraffe does not go for help. He lies down in the leaves beside her and stays there while the light goes gold, then amber, then silver. What follows is not a rescue, and it is not quick. It is something quieter. Edna finds her own way out, in her own time, with Gerry beside her the whole way.I made this book because sometimes the kindest thing is not to fix a problem for someone, but to stay close while they work it out themselves. Courage here is a quiet, patient thing, not a loud one.Written for the bedtime hour, Find Your Way features warm Australian bush illustrations, a sing along song page, and a set of gentle activity pages at the back. It pairs with the animated read along episode on the One More Story channel, where Mr H reads each story beside the campfire with Gerry close by.Proudly Australian. Made for bedtime.
