Synopsis "Fluch der Saline (in German)"

Würdest du deinen eigenen Vater verraten, um frei zu sein? Sizilien 1968: Totò ist erst vierzehn Jahre alt und muss schon hart arbeiten. Sein Vater hat eine Saline gekauft, die nur schmutziges Salz erzeugt, und die Familie lebt in Armut. Als ausgerechnet Don Luigi, der mächtigste Mann im Dorf, die Saline kaufen will, wittert Totò seine Chance, dem Elend zu entfliehen. Doch sein Vater hält verbissen am Familienbesitz fest. Eine Seherin behauptet, dass ein Fluch auf dem alten Gemäuer liegt, und der Vater glaubt auch schon zu wissen, wer dahintersteckt. Als er mit seinem Gewehr loszieht, muss Totò sich entscheiden, auf wessen Seite er steht. Dabei stö t er auf ein dunkles Familiengeheimnis. "Spannung pur.
