When Sekmet throws herself in front of a cursed scythe to save her husband Daghdha, she expects the dark embrace of death. Instead, she wakes bound in linen inside a forgotten tomb, transformed into a creature of sharp fangs, golden eyes, and ravenous hunger. Ripped from a life of warmth and quiet creation at her loom, she is forced to navigate a terrifying new existence as a predator of the dark, fighting every single day to retain her humanity and remember the woman she used to be.

Above ground, Daghdha is a broken man. Consumed by guilt and grieving the loss of his wife, the former warrior turned innkeeper and smith withdraws into isolation and the bottom of a bottle. When word reaches him that the evil Druid Gwher still lives, Daghdha sets out on a brutal path of vengeance.

Bound by a love forged over seventeen years, both Sekmet and Daghdha must wage war, not only against external monsters and ancient dark magic, but against the internal shadows threatening to devour them. Forever Bound is a dark, visceral fantasy about trauma, addiction, and the brutal, messy work of reaching across the wreckage to choose redemption.
