This paper therefore highlights the importance of process mapping for the implementation of an integrated management system, with the main objective of explaining that existing activities need to be assessed and that others will emerge as necessary for the use of an ERP system, thus seeking to mitigate possible problems and demonstrate the importance of this in the management of the organisation.
