The Epistle of James will not let you hide.James grew up in the same house as Jesus, and when he finally believed, he wrote the bluntest letter in the New Testament. He cuts through religious talk, public appearance, and every cover-up we use to protect ourselves from the truth. Faith, he insists, must survive fire. It must show up in how you speak, how you spend, how you treat the poor, and how you endure when life presses hard. This thirteen-module workbook walks carefully through the entire epistle, from the crucible of trials in chapter one to the call to restore the wandering in chapter five. Each module follows the text closely, presses its meaning honestly, and moves the reader toward real obedience. Discussion questions, memory verses, Greek word studies, and a full set of teacher's resources make it ideal for Bible classes, small groups, and personal study.James asked one question of every believer: Is your faith alive? This study will help you answer it.Format & FeaturesEvery module pairs careful exposition with tools for the classroom: discussion questions, memory verses, and Greek word studies that open up the text without requiring any background in the language. A full set of study helps, and teacher's resources rounds out the book - including an at-a-glance overview of the epistle and module-by-module teaching suggestions - making it ready to use in any setting, from a quarter-long adult class to individual study.Who It's ForBible class teachers, small-group leaders, preachers, and any Christian ready to hold their faith up to the mirror of James - whether studying alone or leading others through the epistle.
