Her former students well remember Bible class with Sister Rōz, Miss Rōz, or Mrs. Ridenoure. Monte lives in a small town in Northeastern California. His artwork ranges from impressionistic to lifelike. He creates art with everything from natural wood to roofing materials. In Just a Plain, Poor, Simple Shepherd he has created vibrant images that pop with detail and color.
