Synopsis "L'Illusion commune (in French)"

L'Illusion commune publié en 1968 deux ans après la parution de son premier chapitre du tabou dans la revue Bungei donna un grand coup surtout aux étudiants qui cherchaient en vain à s'armer de quelque théorie efficace lorsqu'ils se trouvaient alors justement dans l'agitation universitaire à la dimension mondiale sous l'intensification de la guerre vietnamienne, en attendant chez nous l'an 1970 le dixième anniversaire et la reconduction du traité de sécurité avec les États-Unis. Mais comme toute théorie vient toujours trop tôt ou trop tard, les réflexions de l'auteur ne semblaient pas être comprises en ce temps-là. Yoshimoto eut un entretien avec Michel Foucault sur le thème de la méthode de la perception du monde à Tokyo l'avril 1978, après dix ans de la publication du livre. Il nous indiqua l'arrivée de pleine saison où on pourrait discuter l'Illusion commune enfin au niveau académique et international. À la fin de l'entrevue Foucault souhaita bien que Yoshimoto soit traduit en français, si non en anglais. Encore dix ans passés, l'Illusion commune commence à se traduire en français, mais cette traduction n'est maintenant qu'une offrande au tombeau du grand penseur.
