Las fronteras no son solo líneas físicas en un mapa, sino divisiones y procesos sociales y simbólicos que se configuran continuamente a través del lenguaje y la interacción cotidiana. Este volumen bilingüe desafía las nociones estáticas y binarias de las fronteras, revelando cómo se construyen y se mantienen, pero también se desafían y se reinventan mediante prácticas comunicativas concretas. Desde diversas perspectivas teóricas y metodológicas, los y las autoras analizan fronteras nacionales, transnacionales, simbólicas y de género en Europa, África y las Américas, abordando cuestiones de urgente actualidad como la migración, la identidad, el racismo, la discriminación de género y otras formas de exclusión mediadas por el lenguaje.
