Synopsis "Living In Queue"

Wealth and power robbed Liz of her identity and worth, but radio gave it back. WXLZ frees her from her husband and from his father, Ian. Liz McDaniel's job is to work as liaison between the two corporations. With her job on the line, her marriage disintegrating fast, and an ever increasing dependency on cocaine and alcohol, Liz understands one mistake might cost her everything dear. Tommy Cain is the primary reason WXLZ is being simulcast. His live morning show pulled impossible ratings in the last sweep. He sees how dangerously close to the edge Liz is dancing. He's also one more person pushing her to careen over it. McDaniel Financial will be handling the merger. Robert warns Liz she's playing with fire, but she won't allow him to dictate her life, especially considering the mess he's made of his own. Out of town with Tommy, Liz is placed into custody by the police. She doesn't understand why until she's escorted back to Port Harbor, Maine. She's informed her husband was fatally shot in the back of the head, point blank, and found in the lake at Tommy's cabin. Tommy has been arrested and charged with the murder.
