He is the founder and editor of Cemetery Dance Publications, specialized in horror literature. His work has been published in outlets like Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine and The Year's 25 Finest Crime and Mystery Stories. He has been awarded two World Fantasy Awards, four International Horror Guild Awards, and the Horror Writers Association award.
