You have started the Bible before. Possibly more than once. This time you are going to finish it.Ninety days. Twenty to thirty minutes a day. A short, warm companion entry for every single one of them, telling you what you are about to read, what to watch for while you read it, and one question to carry with you afterward. This is not a devotional that replaces the Bible with someone's thoughts about it. Every day, you read the text itself. The book beside you is here to keep you oriented, to explain why a chapter suddenly changes tone, to tell you honestly when a stretch is hard going, and to make sure you never open the page not knowing where you are.WHAT'S INSIDE- Ninety complete daily entries - a reading, a setup, a thing worth noticing, and a question to sit with- The whole arc, in order: creation and the ancestors, Egypt and Sinai, the land, the kings, exile and return, wisdom and the psalms, the prophets, the gospels, the early church and the letters, and Revelation- Full readings of the narrative spine, and honest, clearly flagged selections where a book is read in part - with a note on exactly what you are skipping so you can come back to it- Difficult passages handled rather than tiptoed around, including the violence, the laments, and the psalms nobody quotes- A chapter for when you fall behind, and three generous ways to finish from wherever you stopped- The full ninety-day plan listed at a glance, and a plan for what to do on Day 91WRITTEN TO BE USABLE BY ANYONECatholic, Orthodox, Protestant or simply curious - where traditions read something differently, this book says so instead of picking a side. It never promises particular outcomes and never pressures you. Scripture quotations are from the public-domain King James Version, always cited; the reading itself is done in whatever translation you prefer.Ninety days from today, you will have read the Bible. Not skimmed it, not started it. Read it.Scroll up and begin Day One. Read more
