Exiled for about 20 years due to his opposition to the regime of Napoleon III, he produced many of his most significant works during this period, also expanding his political work as a deputy and senator after his return. Es un libro muy bueno, la trama es genial. Lo único dome de la historia es que el autor introduce largos capítulos donde describe la ciudad o sus puntos de vista arquitectónicos, etc. Respecto a la edición, es una bella edición, pero con errores frecuentes en la impresión, por ejemplo, en vez de "La" dice "Ja" o en vez de "felicidad" dice "fecilidad", es raro en Ed. Porrúa.
