Synopsis "Power Play"

Power Play is a mystery horror detective story with humans, vampires, werewolves, and other creatures. Kaela Aidan and her friend Arek run a detective agency. When a woman comes to Aiden's office for help, the hairs on the back of her neck raise. The woman's family business is in trouble and she wants Aiden to mediate between her father and his rival, Dairev. It sounds like a simple task to get both parties to agree to some common ground, but there is a lot more going on than what appears. The Triad, which is made up of one human, one vampire and one werewolf, wants Aidan and Arek dead because those two have interfered in their business one too many times. The Triad controls most of the illegal business in the city. Local crime bosses are looking to kill Aiden because she's been a thorn in their side for too long. A mysterious man is trying to kill Aiden and Arek so that he can gain a seat on the Triad. Amidst all this, a few others are planning and plotting their own personal vendettas. Aiden and Arek find themselves in the very center of all these power plays and must find a way to not only survive but save the woman and her family.
