What do baseball, beer, lightning, and a trip to the future have in common? Nothing good. Consider this: if you could see the future, what changes would you make? Of course, you could make bets on events and get wealthy, but what if you saw your own death? What would you do to stop events from unfolding? Sam accidentally time travels when he is struck by a bolt of lightning, and finds out his fate and the future of a friend, Mark Banner. When Sam tells Mark the future, they enjoy the perks for a while, but Mark is worried about part of the vision. He is going to die in a brutal, bloody manner that he decides to change.He can only save his own life by murdering Sam's wife, Charlie, who kills him in the future. Still with us? They too can't get a grip on the slithering, sliding reality of a future that may or may not be set in stone. Is there a paradox? It's far too much for Charlie, Sam's wife, to understand.
