Synopsis "Rhydian: The Other Side"

Rhydian, the son of a famed war hero, is fascinated by the human world that lies across a system of portals, called thresholds. He ventures there as often as he can, away from the conflict with the fierce, war faring ground dwellers in his realm. He is part of a winged race whose cultural identity revolves around life in the open sky, high above the wild dangers of the ground. His life changes overnight when he one day discovers a secret threshold to the other side and meets a human girl, a pilot who has dreamed of the sky her entire life. He suddenly finds himself thrust into a battle for both worlds, along the way learning revealing secrets about his father that challenge every truth he's ever known. He begins to realize that the war in his realm is not what he'd always been told, and ultimately, Rhydian must choose between his world and the love of a human girl who can never be a part of it.
