Valeria Luiselli (Ciudad de México, 1983) es autora de las novelas Los ingrávidos (2011), La historia de mis dientes (2013) y Desierto sonoro (2019), así como de los libros de no ficción Papeles falsos (2010) y Los niños perdidos (2016). Entre los numerosos reconocimientos que ha recibido, se cuentan la beca «Genius» MacArthur, el American Book Award, el Folio Prize, el International Dublin Literary Award y el Premio Mondello. Es profesora en Bard College y en la Universidad de Harvard. Vive en Nueva York.
