Synopsis "Stadification du cancer de la thyroïde par les méthodes de data mining (in French)"

Le cancer thyroïdien est la cinquième cause de cancer chez la femme dans le monde et la troisième en Algérie, avec une incidence en hausse. Cette étude propose un système de classification intelligent par data mining sur 749 patients suivis au Centre Pierre et Marie Curie d'Alger. Trois techniques ont été comparées: arbres de décision CHAID, analyse des correspondances multiples et classification bayésienne naïve, via SPSS, Tanagra et Python. Les résultats montrent un profil à prédominance féminine (83,6 %), âge médian de 42 ans et survie élevée (96,1 %). La classification bayésienne naïve est la plus performante (59,6 %), suivie du CHAID (57,7 %), qui identifie l'âge, les métastases à distance et la taille du nodule comme variables discriminantes. Ces modèles offrent un appui concret à la standardisation et à la médecine personnalisée, mais nécessitent l'intégration de biomarqueurs et une validation externe.
