Storms, Suitcases & Second Thoughts - Greer Delaney

A restless travel writer with ruined plans, a dead phone, and a suitcase full of assumptions, Naomi arrives in Delaney expecting one inconvenient night and maybe a story worth salvaging.

Then she meets Lena Cross.

Lena owns the Crossroads Inn, runs on coffee, boundaries, and practical competence, and has no patience for outsiders who turn real people into quaint local color. Especially not travel writers who arrive looking at a closed bridge like it might make a good anecdote.

But when the storm traps guests, floods roads, and turns the inn into Delaney's unofficial headquarters for gossip, soup, and community chaos, Naomi keeps finding reasons to stay. Lena keeps pretending she does not notice. And the town keeps making their private feelings inconveniently public.

Naomi wants material. Lena wants privacy. Neither of them planned on shelter turning into something that feels dangerously like home.

Storms, Suitcases & Second Thoughts is a warm, funny sapphic small-town romance about forced proximity, emotional detours, storm gossip, and the unsettling discovery that leaving is not always freedom.
