Synopsis "Switch"

"SWITCH" is an action-packed psychological drama following two brothers, Digby and Paul Rooke. Digby, a serving member of the Australian SAS, reunites with his estranged brother Paul, who has resigned from his duties, after staging a siege at Veteran Affairs to secure rightful benefits for himself and fellow veterans. The resulting chaos inadvertently leads to the death of a commissioner.

During their reunion, Paul reveals their foster father’s diaries, expose prominent individuals involved in the abuse the brothers endured. While Digby seeks justice, Paul desires healing but has suppressed his memories of the assaults. In a dramatic turn, Digby hijacks a press conference to disclose evidence of the paedophilia, intensifying their quest for accountability.

As Paul grapples with the resurfacing of his childhood trauma, he develops a new persona, Mark, during a police arrest. Hospitalised, he struggles with the presence of multiple personalities, revealing the depth of his psychological scars. Digby pursues lead connections to Paul’s and his past, seeking closure for himself through a sex worker named Bev, while the medical team attempts to integrate Paul’s fragmented identities.

Tensions rise as Digby confronts Inspector Deex, who has a mysterious connection to the brothers, and uncovers hidden truths regarding their past As they navigate this emotional turmoil, a climatic incident forces both brothers to confront their shared trauma - leading one toward healing and the other to disengage from their pain forever.
